Teaching and training will be provided at all levels. MBMINTL partners with other agencies who are also dedicated to the education and training of missionaries working among M u s l i m s. This training goes on world wide.

We are working now to put together a generic internship program to standardize the 'basic training' of those wanting to work among M u s l i m s. We are looking for experienced volunteers to help in this program.

There is current work being done which has categorized the training levels of missionaries considering the types and difficulties of ministry contexts. In the long term, we would hope that there would be five different levels of training and each tailored to the five different ministry contexts in which we find Islamic influences.

This work has been underway for some time through one of our networking partners of MBMINTL. What we now need, is for a group to arise that will address the challenge of developing such a training program which can be the basis for training fundamentals for varieties of agencies.

The generic training would be contained on the CD along with the resources necessary for the research. The Isa Project CD-ROM would serve as both the classroom and library for a good deal of the training. It would be up to each individual agency to adapt and add to the training materials and agenda for their specific kind of ministry.
