OVERVIEW OF THE CDs

Development of the CD-ROM for education and training of our missionaries ministering in difficult places with little resources is our first project.   As God provides, the first CD will develop into a set of 5.

The following categories will be place on their respective CD:

1. Courses and training programs (Internships, self-directed study programs, etc. It will be complete with relevant texts, audio tapes, video tapes, and resources relevant to the training programs.

2. Books (meaning all printed materials more than 64 pages, which would include several bible version and the Q u r a n in English) are made available as we gain access to them.

3. Resources from I s l a m i c  and Christian sources will cover apologetics, history, theology, culture, etc.

4. Literature for distribution; tracts, brochures, pamphlets, maps, audio tapes etc. can printed and distributed (NOT FOR SALE) for evangelistic and educational purposes. This may include also lecture notes from various sources.

5. 'Regionalized' materials on this CD will have content relevant to different regions of the world. For example; Francophone Africa would have many standard resources, but would include specific material for those ministering in that region. For example; a French Bible, research and resources printed in French, ethnographic materials focusing on people in that area of the world, offerings developed by local authors and Christian educational institutions, audio and video training tapes would be offered.

AUDIO CDs - are currently being developed In addition to the I s a Project CD. We are currently producing CDs which will have from 50 - 60 audio tapes of 45-60 minute each, for training purposes. The number of CDs will increase as tapes become available.

VIDEO CDs "B a t t l e for the H e a r t s" - are also available on  CD at this time. Our networking partners, Gerhard Nehls and Trans World Radio have entered into a production relationship which will see the rest of 12 video training tapes on I s l a m i c  topics placed onto CDs.
